To get started, we will take a good look at what your current food intake and schedule looks like. Most people are very surprised by what their diet actually looks like once it is written down in front of them versus just another handful of snacks that we often forgot we even ate. It becomes a lot easier to define and recognize improvement when we know the starting point we are at though. Once we have established a baseline, we will go over what your ideal diet should look like to ensure you are getting the micronutrient dense fuel your body needs to thrive. We will look at your health goals as well as any challenges you may be facing and how you can begin to address those through diet and specific herbs. From there, we will work together to identify specific action items that work in your life to help make these goals a reality.
For those currently dealing with a specific diagnosis, taking medication, or who may be pregnant, you have even more reasons to take care of yourself and give your body the building blocks it needs to repair and grow. Will you just tell me that I need to eat more vegetables?
Maybe, but I won’t leave it at that. The fact is that the majority of us, even those who already eat a lot of vegetables, could still benefit from increasing our vegetable intake. This isn’t new or front page worthy, and most of us know this. That doesn’t make it any easier though, especially when your friends are ordering a double cheeseburger, fries, and a soda right next to you.
